Modern cooperage...
Teak Tub manufactures teak tubs by combining the
old cooper’s
trade with industrial production methods. For centuries, tubs have
been made by fit-
ting staves round the bottom, holding them together
by brass and steel hoops – and this is also the way we do it.
However, we use tongues and grooves in the wooden staves that form
the sides of the tub.
Invisible rubber sealant is used on the bottom,
including rubber gaskets. A patent pending manufacturing method that
improves not only the quality of the tub, but also provides you with
a watertight
tub, even if you haven’t
used it for years. Teak Tub also manufactures other bath room fittings in solid wood.
